About the Practitioner

Gina Rooks, MSN, APRN, FNP-C, CFNIP is a Family Nurse Practitioner, Certified Functional Nutrition Practitioner, and the owner of Unscripted Health & Wellness LLC.

Gina has over 15 years of experience in the nursing field, including the past 10 years as a Family Nurse Practitioner. Her diverse clinical background spans inpatient critical care, ambulatory medicine, skilled nursing, and long-term care. Gina specialized in Cardiology for 8 years before shifting her focus from “sick care” to wellness and preventative care.

Having experienced her own health struggles and navigating a series of specialists without finding answers, Gina was finally able to heal herself by uncovering the root cause of her symptoms. She now applies this holistic and functional approach to all of her client encounters and is passionate about optimizing health, preventing illness and reversing chronic disease.
