About the Practitioner

Gina Rooks, MSN, APRN, FNP-C, CFNIP is a Family Nurse Practitioner, Certified Functional Nutrition Practitioner, and the owner of Unscripted Health & Wellness LLC.

Gina has been in the nursing field for over 15 years and has spent the last 10 years practicing as a Family Nurse Practitioner. She has varied clinical experience ranging from inpatient critical care to general ambulatory medicine, to skilled nursing and long-term care. She specialized in inpatient and outpatient Cardiology for 8 years before moving away from “sick care” and shifting her focus to wellness, preventative care and a root cause mentality.

After going through her own significant health struggles, seeing specialist after specialist without an answer, she was able to heal herself by finding the root cause of her symptoms. She now applies this lense to all of her clients and truly enjoys helping others to optimize their health, prevent and/or reverse illnesses, and the find answers that they haven’t found in conventional medicine.
