Frequently Asked Questions

Questions? We’re here to help!

What states do you service?

We currently provide telehealth (virtual visit) services to residents of Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Colorado, Oregon, and Washington, with additional states to be added soon.

For those located in select areas of Massachusetts and New Hampshire, limited in-person home visits may be available depending on your location and type of visit. Please see the In-Person Visit FAQ below for details and feel free to reach out via email with questions.

We also offer virtual health coaching services nationwide, available to clients in all 50 states. This service also includes access to advanced laboratory testing to support a deeper understanding of your health and wellness goals.

How do I schedule a consultation?

You can conveniently schedule appointments through our online Booking page. If you don’t see a time or visit type that fits your needs, please don’t hesitate to reach out via email—we’re happy to help you arrange an alternative option whenever possible.

Do you accept insurance?

We are a direct-pay practice and do not accept insurance.

This model allows us to provide longer, more personalized visits and deliver truly comprehensive, high-quality care without the limitations of traditional insurance billing. While some standard labs may be covered by your insurance (depending on your plan and the lab used), most specialized or advanced testing—including functional panels and stool analysis—is typically not reimbursed by insurance providers.

If you’d like to explore potential reimbursement after payment up front, we’re happy to provide a superbill upon request. You can then submit it to your insurance for possible out-of-network coverage, but please note that reimbursement is not guaranteed and varies widely by provider and plan.

We’re committed to transparency and are always happy to answer questions about costs and alternative testing options to fit in your budget as you move forward in your care.

Do you offer in-person visits?

We currently offer primarily telehealth visits, providing convenient, flexible access to care from the comfort of your home.

For patients located in Southern New Hampshire and Northern Middlesex County of Massachusetts, in-person home visits may be available upon request. These mobile visits are considered on a case-by-case basis, depending on your location and the type of service needed. An additional travel fee applies for home visits.

If you’re interested in scheduling an in-person appointment, please contact us to discuss availability and options for your area.

Do you offer primary care or urgent care services?

Our services are intended to complement—not replace—the care provided by your primary care physician (PCP). We strongly recommend that all clients maintain an ongoing relationship with their PCP, including regular check-ins (typically 1–2 times per year, or as advised by your provider) for routine preventive care, screenings, and any urgent or acute medical needs.

Working in partnership with your primary care team helps ensure a well-rounded, comprehensive approach to your health.

Do you offer asynchronous care?

All clients enrolled in a membership plan receive unlimited asynchronous messaging with the practitioner as part of their ongoing care.

For those seeking more flexibility, we offer the option of asynchronous-only care for certain services. The availability of this option is based on the service type, provider discretion, and applicable state regulations. This model allows you to receive care without a live video visit by completing structured intake forms (initially and at regular intervals) and includes communication through secure messaging and personalized care recommendations delivered in writing and/or audio recording.
